Water lines bring clean water into your home or business as well as drain waste water out. It is essential that you keep these lines working correctly to ensure that the water you are drinking is not contaminated.
Reasons your water line needs to be repaired
The water line could be plugged, have cracks, or be crushed which are just a few reasons you need to call a professional. Over time the water lineages and can become brittle which makes it easier for it to crack. Finding the spot that is plugged can be difficult when it is underground. Once the line has cracked, it can start becoming plugged from debris or waste. In the house, it could be leaking from cracks, plugs, or even the fittings becoming lose these types of issues can cause water damage in the home. They are also more comfortable to find inside but not always easy to fix.
Drains

Signs of a gas line leak:
- You may notice a smell of sulfur (rotten eggs) with propane, while natural gas gives off a slight garlic smell.
- You may hear a hissing sound near your gas line this indicates you have a substantial leak,
- Outside, you may notice bubbles in standing water where your gas line runs.
- Another thing you may find outside along the area where your gas line runs is dead vegetation.
If you notice signs of a leak outside along the ground or hear hissing near your meter, you need to call a professional and get your gas turned off until it is fixed. The same thing applies if you smell gas inside your home or business or hear hissing near the gas line of appliances. At this point, it is best to evacuate the home or business until the gas can be turned off to keep everyone safe.
Signs of a slow leak inside
Here are few signs that you may have a slow gas leak inside your home or business:
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Respiratory problems
- Vomiting
- Memory loss
