Patricia Diaz Rental Manager
Born and raised in Guadalajara, Patricia studied Business Administration at ITESO: a prestigious university in her native city.
She has a wide range of business experience, having lived and worked in Jamaica, Cancun, Mazatlan, Mexico City and now in Puerto Vallarta.
For the last six years, Patricia has been focused on property rentals in the Bay of Banderas area (Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit). Patricia worked inside the luxury gates community of Punta Mita, where she managed the rental department and handled many world class residences. Patricia says, “I am used to dealing with the requirements of the rental luxury market”. Clients who can afford the best, expect the best” and that’s what we will deliver with the new Prudential Platinum Rentals program.” Patricia notices that Prudential’s mission includes rental properties at every price point. “I enjoy meeting new people, regardless of their rental budget,” Patricia says. “At Prudential, we have the ability to carefully match properties with people” and that’s the essence of the rental business.” Patricia says she has thoroughly enjoyed her 18 years in the Bay of Banderas area. “The experience in the Vallarta area has been wonderful and I love having the ability and market knowledge to help share Vallarta with clients. With a keen interest in Puerto Vallarta’s development, Marilyn Newman is excited to be part of the Prudential California Realty Vallarta Division sales team and the burgeoning real estate market in the Bay of Banderas. Marilyn brings with her a passion for service excellence, professionalism and complete client satisfaction. She is an Associate member of A.M.P.I. (Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios/Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals), NAR (National Association of Realtors), and her local associations Multiple Listing Service. She has also received the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation, which is a specialty group of the National Association of Realtors that focuses on international real estate. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Marilyn has lived in Puerto Vallarta since 1990, mastering the art of living in Mexico. With expertise in various facets of real estate, she joined the family at Prudential, bringing a wealth of local knowledge and real estate savvy. Marilyn has proven to be a tremendous asset to both clients and colleagues alike. Marilyn says, “The diversity and natural beauty of Vallarta is what makes it special. Carmen is a native of Mexico City and has always loved dealing with people. She worked for many years as an English teacher but her interest in other cultures eventually took her to England. There she worked for several years at the Mexican Embassy in London. As a foreigner in the U.K. Carmen devoted herself to the promotion of Mexico in all aspects. Returning to Mexico City, Carmen worked in Public Relations and International Commerce for a Trade Advice Consulting Firm, creating business connections for a number of small and medium sized companies. The charm and beauty of Puerto Vallarta fascinated Carmen and in 2002 she made the decision to move here. In June 2004 she joined the Prudential Vallarta Sales Team excited by the prospect of building a successful career in real estate. She has developed a succesful connection with her clients, some of whom are now her friends. The magic of this area and the friendliness of its people is something she knows captivates Puerto Vallarta’s visitors and she is always happy to share this with her clients. A native of Mexico City, Tere received her real estate training at the Rockwell Institute in Bellevue, WA where she was licensed and became a top selling sales associate within her first year working for John L. Scott. Tere is also a Certified International Property Specialist (C.I.P.S.), a Resort Second Home Property Specialist (R.S.P.S.) a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors) since 1999 and was also the President of AMPI Riviera-Nayarita (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals) for the past nine years (2004-2012). After only two and a half years as a top producing sales associate working for a local firm, Tere was offered a partnership to open a Prudential California Realty office that covers all of the Bay of Banderas. Tere’s theory is, In order to make this the best real estate office in our area, we have to make a difference as people and always put our clients’ interests first. The key is our team. Prudential Vallarta is and has been the number one listing agency for more than 9 consecutive years and is consistently ranked among the top five selling real estate agencies in the Vallarta-Nayarit area.
On a personal level, Tere has a deep sense of compassion for the neglected cats and dogs of Puerto Vallarta and has rescued, spayed, neutered, give in adoption, relocated approx. 1000 cats and 150 dogs over the last 6 years. She works hard to educate the local residents on how to control the population and improve the lives of our local felines and canines.
Lulu Gutierrez was born in Tepic, Nayarit, located within a 2 hour drive North from Puerto Vallarta. She spent most of her childhood in San Blas, Nayarit, a fishermen town located North of PV on the Pacific Coast.
In spite of her family’s tradition that a career was only for men and women were raised to be housewives, mothers and to stay at home, Lulu was on a mission not to follow that conservative and old tradition. She knew she could strive to have both. Lulu´s impressive real estate background comes from having spent many years associated with two real estate franchises in the area.
Lulu embraces having policies, guidelines and structure, as she knows she needs all of these to become even a more respected real estate professional in a competitive market environment.
Lulu´s has specialized in large land transactions, she knows every mountain, field, plantation, swamp, river crossing, etc. plus she is very well liked by all the Ejidatarios and private land owners of the area.
Lulu joined the Prudential Vallarta Sales Team, because through the years she has learned that personal and professional growth can be achieved by sharing knowledge, experiences and getting support from a positive team. Lulu comments: “my client’s needs will always come first”. I will pursue the best options and will usually end up with a new longtime friend.
On a personal level, Lulu loves nature, has two beautiful adult children whom she loves and two grandchildren which she adores.
Araceli Rios Favela was born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1965, to a large family of 3 brothers and 4 sisters. As a small child she was fascinated by computers and decided to study Computer Science at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. She worked for 2 years in Invermexico, and installed one of the first private satellite data and voice systems in México. Her parents had built a house in Bucerías, Nayarit, where she used to come on weekends. On one of those trips she met her future husband and they have 2 beautiful boys. Araceli moved to Vallarta and started a computer business, representing Hewlett Packard and Acer. After 15 years she decided to make a change and started working in real estate were she was invited to work at Prudential Vallarta. She thought it was a great opportunity to work for a company with such an excellent reputation.
