Mary Enciso is a real ”Pata Salada” born and raised in Puerto Vallarta. Mary has a degree in tourism and is grateful to her parents for having chosen to live and raise her in this beautiful city that she loves.
When Mary talks to someone about her childhood, she mesmerizes about all of the marvelous things this Bay has to offer, it fantastic weather, its impressive mountain ranges, its beautiful sandy beaches, long and coved, the imperial sun that embraces your skin and reminds you that you are in the tropics and of course its happy and friendly people.
Mary’s first real estate encounter was in 2009 where she worked for a development in Nuevo Vallarta. After, she joined the office of a renowned franchise real estate firm and in 2011 she joined the Prudential sales team.
Mary’s true devotion and passion for this business, make her a true gem. Mary enjoys life, loves her family, she is a happy person that enjoys servicing people with honestly and professionalism.
A native of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, MX, Danny Duran knows that the foundation of success is to be attentive to the present and enjoy the moment because the answer is within each situation. Entrepreneurial by nature, Danny Duran knows that listening opens up endless possibilities for success. “You do not need to be a genius to detect where you must improve” “I firmly believe that the responsibility for what I am and receive is right in front of the mirror”

With a keen interest in Puerto Vallarta’s development, Marilyn Newman is excited to be part of the Prudential California Realty Vallarta Division sales team and the burgeoning real estate market in the Bay of Banderas. Marilyn brings with her a passion for service excellence, professionalism and complete client satisfaction. She is an Associate member of A.M.P.I. (Asociacion Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios/Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals), NAR (National Association of Realtors), and her local associations Multiple Listing Service. She has also received the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation, which is a specialty group of the National Association of Realtors that focuses on international real estate. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Marilyn has lived in Puerto Vallarta since 1990, mastering the art of living in Mexico. With expertise in various facets of real estate, she joined the family at Prudential, bringing a wealth of local knowledge and real estate savvy. Marilyn has proven to be a tremendous asset to both clients and colleagues alike. Marilyn says, “The diversity and natural beauty of Vallarta is what makes it special. There is truly something for everyone, and I promise I will find that special something for you, and make it happen!”.
Laura was born in Xalapa, Veracruz. At age 14 she moved to the United States (Washington, D.C.) with her mother and eventually studied tourism. In 2002 she and her mother returned to Mexico and chose Puerto Vallarta to be their permanent new home. In late 2003 Laura was invited by Tere Kimball to become a member of the Prudential Vallarta Sales Team. She was immediately put in charge of a mid size development North of the Bay. Laura has continued to excel in her career and has become very proficient in handling small to mid size developments. Laura is has a passion for outdoor sports and is an avid sailor. She is a member of Puerto Vallarta’s women’s sailing team. She also has a great laugh and a great sense of humor. All of her clients enjoy working with her.
A native of Mexico City, Tere received her real estate training at the Rockwell Institute in Bellevue, WA where she was licensed and became a top selling sales associate within her first year working for John L. Scott. Tere is also a Certified International Property Specialist (C.I.P.S.), a Resort Second Home Property Specialist (R.S.P.S.) a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors) since 1999 and was also the President of AMPI Riviera-Nayarita (Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals) for the past nine years (2004-2012). After only two and a half years as a top producing sales associate working for a local firm, Tere was offered a partnership to open a Prudential California Realty office that covers all of the Bay of Banderas. Tere’s theory is, In order to make this the best real estate office in our area, we have to make a difference as people and always put our clients’ interests first. The key is our team. Prudential Vallarta is and has been the number one listing agency for more than 9 consecutive years and is consistently ranked among the top five selling real estate agencies in the Vallarta-Nayarit area.
On a personal level, Tere has a deep sense of compassion for the neglected cats and dogs of Puerto Vallarta and has rescued, spayed, neutered, give in adoption, relocated approx. 1000 cats and 150 dogs over the last 6 years. She works hard to educate the local residents on how to control the population and improve the lives of our local felines and canines.
Lulu Gutierrez was born in Tepic, Nayarit, located within a 2 hour drive North from Puerto Vallarta. She spent most of her childhood in San Blas, Nayarit, a fishermen town located North of PV on the Pacific Coast.
In spite of her family’s tradition that a career was only for men and women were raised to be housewives, mothers and to stay at home, Lulu was on a mission not to follow that conservative and old tradition. She knew she could strive to have both. Lulu´s impressive real estate background comes from having spent many years associated with two real estate franchises in the area.
Lulu embraces having policies, guidelines and structure, as she knows she needs all of these to become even a more respected real estate professional in a competitive market environment.
Lulu´s has specialized in large land transactions, she knows every mountain, field, plantation, swamp, river crossing, etc. plus she is very well liked by all the Ejidatarios and private land owners of the area.
Lulu joined the Prudential Vallarta Sales Team, because through the years she has learned that personal and professional growth can be achieved by sharing knowledge, experiences and getting support from a positive team. Lulu comments: “my client’s needs will always come first”. I will pursue the best options and will usually end up with a new longtime friend.
On a personal level, Lulu loves nature, has two beautiful adult children whom she loves and two grandchildren which she adores.
Carmen is a native of Mexico City and has always loved dealing with people. She worked for many years as an English teacher but her interest in other cultures eventually took her to England. There she worked for several years at the Mexican Embassy in London. As a foreigner in the U.K. Carmen devoted herself to the promotion of Mexico in all aspects. Returning to Mexico City, Carmen worked in Public Relations and International Commerce for a Trade Advice Consulting Firm, creating business connections for a number of small and medium sized companies. The charm and beauty of Puerto Vallarta fascinated Carmen and in 2002 she made the decision to move here. In June 2004 she joined the Prudential Vallarta Sales Team excited by the prospect of building a successful career in real estate. She has developed a succesful connection with her clients, some of whom are now her friends. The magic of this area and the friendliness of its people is something she knows captivates Puerto Vallarta’s visitors and she is always happy to share this with her clients. Araceli Rios Favela was born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1965, to a large family of 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Her childhood was spent in Guadalajara in a home bursting with family and friends. Even as a small child she was fascinated by computers and decided to study Computer Science at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, graduating in 1987, and becoming the first generation in this career. She worked for 2 years in Invermexico, a stock market company, and installed one of the first private satellite data and voice systems in México. During that time, her parents had built a house in Bucerías, Nayarit, and she used to come on weekends twice a month to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches of the area. On one of those trips, more than 20 years ago, she met her future husband and in less than 6 months they were married. They have 2 beautiful boys who are growing and thriving in this amazing environment of Vallarta. When Araceli moved to Vallarta she started a computer business that became very successful, representing the authorized warranty service for Hewlett Packard and Acer and delivering equipment which Telmex (Telefonos de Mexico) had introduced. Stemming from that experience, she began to enjoy the customer service aspects of the business. After 15 years with her own business she decided to make a change and started working in the new Fluvial Vallarta project, first in administration and later coordinating the sales department. During her position with Fluvial Vallarta she met Desiree Lara through a mutual friend and Araceli was invited to work at the Paradise office of Prudential. She thought it was a great opportunity to continue working in real estate for a company with such an excellent reputation. Since then she has increased her knowledge of real estate and is sure she will keep learning and enjoying her profession, associates and clients who make her work so interesting, exciting and fun!
